No data entry and no GEDCOM are required. Legacy Charting Companion reads your Legacy Family Tree database directly. Choose from a wide variety of charts and reports, including Ancestor, Descendant, Hourglass, Bow Tie and the ever popular Fan chart.

Print on any sized paper - even tile your pages to create a wall chart! Using PDF you can share your charts electronically by email or publish to the web.

And it's so easy to use! All you have to do is select a person in your Legacy database, choose a chart type, and presto -- the chart is created. No importing data or tedious formatting required.

• Browse through generations of your family tree using the onscreen tree views. Use Legacy Charting Companion's extensive search capability to find elusive information you may have stored in your family file.
• You can also customize your charts. Choose the number of generations, the events to include, the content of your box charts, date format, photos, etc. Customize fonts, line widths and set a maximum height for your photos. Use the print preview and publish your charts and reports to PDF so you can e-mail them to family and friends.
• You can add your photos and event data to most charts in Legacy Charting Companion, (e.g., birth, christening, marriage, death, burial, LDS events), as well as print them in any size, including a nine-foot wall chart format! With the “Cousin Smart” option, you can even avoid duplicate individuals on charts.
• Legacy Charting Companion also creates professional quality reports, including an Ahnentafel (ancestor) report and Register (descendant book report) to which you can add photos. Send these reports directly to your favorite word processor.

Charting Companion’s new Embroidery Charts are as practical as they are fun. Now you can wear your family tree and attract the attention of possible relatives you’ve never met.

You can embroider two types of charts: Ancestor Fan, and Descendant Fan Charts. Format them in quarter-, half- or full-circle - your choice! The program can render up to 5 generations from your genealogy database on any one Embroidery Chart and still preserve the legibility of lettering.
